Getting Knotty at Birch in the countryside

If I could choose just one location to run workshops forever and ever, I think it would probably be Birch. I mean....look at it - it's just dreeeeamy...

It's been styled to perfection and has the most beautiful mid-century modern furniture, greenery in every corner, and gorgeous, free-moving, high ceilinged spaces to float around in. Bliss.

We have been running regular workshops at Birch since the beginning of August when Birch finally opened its doors. It was supposed to open in April - but thanks to the Virus Which Shall Not Be Named - their opening was delayed until August. Despite the dire circumstances in which they launched - Birch have managed to win The Times and Sunday Times Hotel of The Year 2020! Having only been open 2 months! Quite a feat.

Our most regular workshop up til now has been our Macramé Plant Hanger workshop - which is an absolute delight to teach in such airy surroundings.

Perfectly paired with chilled background music and a few cheeky afternoon beers - the macramé workshop is one of our most mindful and relaxing ones to attend - and we love teaching it.

We've just added Essential Oil Blending, Kintsugi and of course Plastic Free Christmas Cracker making to our Birch workshop schedule - so if you fancy a weekend escape to Birch - check out their events page and be sure to combine it with one of our workshops! Its honestly worth it.....they even have pigs and chickens roaming the grounds. Very kiddy and doggy friendly too - what's not to love?!
